Set against the rolling foot hills of Mount Buller this old water tank received a transformation into another one of Geoffrey Carran's feature artworks early in 2023. "Currawongs where the perfect subject matter as their distinct calls echoed across the valleys while I was painting - that pop of yellow from their intelligent eyes really stands out against the grey greens of the mountain tree-scapes. I also really enjoyed the way the sunlight would animate different tree branch silhouettes across the surface throughout the day"
