"This painting was inspired by a series of photos taken by @passerbybirds who captured this young Black Shouldered Kite grooming itself after catching a small bird mid air, I responded most to the way the Kite is all fluffed-up mid shaking and took a moment to stare directly at Shaun, its so dynamic and I wanted to translate this into paint"
